What Is the TPC Task?
The TPC (Training and Placement Cell) task is focused on building collaborations with your college’s placement cell to facilitate campus recruitment drives or set up offline bootcamps. Completing this high-value activity earns you 1000 points and accounts for 50% weightage in your evaluation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Start the Task
• Find the “TPC” card on your dashboard and confirm the task requirements: partner with the placement cell for hiring or offline events.
• Click Contact HR to proceed; this will initiate communication with the responsible HR or placement officer.
2. Reach Out to the Placement Cell
• Draft a professional message or email for your college’s TPC introducing your brand, objectives, and the benefits of campus hiring or bootcamp programs.
• Share details about available roles, internships, bootcamp themes, schedules, and expected student outcomes.
3. Coordinate the Recruitment or Bootcamp
• Work with the TPC to organize an on-campus drive or offline training session.
• Finalize logistics—date, venue, technology setup, and branding materials.
• Ensure that necessary permissions and approvals are acquired through the placement office.
4. Engage Students and Staff
• Promote the event or hiring initiative via college networks, emails, flyers, and social media.
• Set up registration forms or sign-up sheets to record student participation.
5. Report and Document Outcomes
• Track the event’s effectiveness by recording number of attendees, interviews held, students hired, or those trained via bootcamps.
• Prepare a summary report with results, feedback, and future recommendations.
6. Submit and Claim Points
• Once completed, return to the dashboard and update the HR contact about your engagement, providing supporting files (e.g., report, lists, photos).
• Await confirmation to receive points and have the activity credited towards your weighted evaluation.
Tips for a Successful TPC Task
• Communicate clearly: highlight mutual benefits and career outcomes for students.
• Involve your placement cell early for approval and better reach.
• Capture evidence—photos, feedback, roster lists—to document the activity.
• Follow up with HR/TPC after event to ensure data is processed and points are credited.
Why This Task Matters
Collaborating with the Placement Cell builds strong industry-college links, gives students direct career opportunities, and showcases your professional initiative. Successful completion rewards you with major points and recognition on your dashboard.
